Cycle Rides For All start in March
CRFA are free, family friendly rides with trained volunteer marshals. The rides range from beginner (4 mile), intermediate (8 to 10 miles) and slightly tougher (15 miles) all at a slow and friendly pace with plenty of stops. Most rides meet at 10AM for a 10:30AM start from Freedom Cycles at Lichfield Bus Station or Beacon Park on one Sunday of the month until September.
The Lichfield Jolly – Summer time
A fun ride around the streets of the city centre followed by an after party at the Wheelie Workshop at Minster Hall. All welcome. Fun and games on Market Square, then the ride. Come in you best togs, fancy dress or vintage attire. More details on the Facebook page.
The Alternative Sheriffs Ride – September
5 mile or so family friendly ride through the city centre streets with a pub finish. Meet at 10.30AM at the Stafford Road Pinfold to await the procession of horses then set off on a ride. More details on the Facebook page.

Regular rides and local groups
Lichfield Re:Cycle is a volunteer project refurbishing donated bikes and offering them for free long term loan. They hold skill sharing demonstrations and offer advice and confidence building in various community locations.
Lichfield Fixed Gear meet regularly for fixed wheel fun.
Sustrans Lichfield Rangers are a group of volunteers who help to maintain and signpost the Sustrans National Cycle Network from Burntwood to Burton. More volunteers always welcome.
